Short answer: the Gum-Gum Fruit and Flame-Flame Fruit arrive partway through a match, at spots marked on everyone's map. The first player to grab one turns into Luffy or Ace, and you can only use one fruit per match. Zoro's Three Sword Style and Usopp's Slingshot are ordinary loot: open chests, or pick them up off the floor.

Item How to get it What it turns you into or does
Gum-Gum Fruit Mid-match spawn, marked on the map Luffy: stretch punches and a rocket launch
Flame-Flame Fruit Mid-match spawn, marked on the map Ace: fire shots and a big area blast
Zoro's Three Sword Style Chests and floor loot (Epic rarity) Melee combo, dash and a charged lunge that blocks bullets
Usopp's Slingshot Chests and floor loot One-shot ranged weapon, Heavy Ammo

Damage numbers below are from launch-week guides (November 1, 2026). Epic can change them in any update, and the in-game item info has the final say.

Gum-Gum Fruit

How to get it. According to Games.gg, the fruit comes in through a Rift partway through the match and lands as a pickup somewhere on Crossbones Isle. Its spot is marked on the map for the whole lobby, so expect company. There is no fixed location; it moves every match. Destructoid adds that the fruits spawn at several places each round and go to whoever gets there first.

What it does. Eat it from your inventory to transform into Luffy:

  • Gum-Gum Pistol (Fire): a stretch punch. Destructoid puts it at 50 damage, and it turns into a kick while you are in the air.
  • Gum-Gum Rocket (ADS): launches you where you aim. Hold longer to go farther. Games.gg says it has a 20-second cooldown.
  • Gum-Gum Battleaxe: a third attack, named by Games.gg.

Games.gg says the transformation lasts the rest of the match and the game tells the lobby when someone eats the fruit. Neither source says whether it survives a reboot.

For the quest: the Gum-Gum Rocket is how you clear "Travel distance using Gum-Gum Fruit's Gum-Gum Rocket (250)". Distance adds up across matches. See One Piece quests.

Flame-Flame Fruit

How to get it. It arrives the same way as the Gum-Gum Fruit, through the mid-match Rift, and Games.gg says the two often spawn together. Its marker shows on the map and HUD, and picking it up sends an island-wide notification.

What it does. Eat it to transform into Portgas D. Ace:

  • Fire Gun (Fire): rapid fire shots with no cooldown. Destructoid says each hit deals 30 damage.
  • Fire Fist (ADS): charge it, then throw a large flame that damages everyone in its splash area. Games.gg gives it a 10-second cooldown. You can keep using Fire Gun while it recharges.

Water hurts you while you have the Flame-Flame Fruit, so stay out of the sea and rivers.

One fruit per match

You cannot use both fruits in the same match, according to Games.gg. If the two spawn together, pick the one that suits you: Gum-Gum for moving around and close fights, Flame-Flame for damage at range.

Zoro's Three Sword Style

How to get it. Beebom says it drops from chests and calls it Epic rarity, so you should see it in most matches. Some guides also list it as floor loot. There is no guaranteed spot. For chest-heavy areas, see Treasure Hunt chest locations.

What it does, per Beebom:

  • Slash (Fire): 45 damage a hit, with 70 on the third, for 160 over the full combo.
  • Dash (Jump): a short dash to close the gap or chase.
  • Charged lunge (ADS): charge, then launch into an enemy for 100 damage. 12-second cooldown.
  • Deflect: while you charge the lunge, the swords block bullets from the front.

For the quest: "Damage opponents using Zoro's Swords (700)" counts damage across matches.

Usopp's Slingshot

How to get it. Beebom says chests are the best source, since they give higher rarities. Floor loot works too.

What it does. It fires one shot at a time and uses Heavy Ammo. Press ADS to zoom, and crouch to tighten your aim. Beebom lists these numbers:

Rarity Damage Headshot
Common 77 139
Rare 85 153
Legendary 89 160
Mythic (Galaxy Slingshot) 93 198

Fire rate, reload and magazine size are the same at every rarity.

For the quest: "Hit opponents beyond 50 meters (10)" works with the slingshot or any ranged weapon.
