Where to find the most chests on Crossbones Isle in Fortnite Treasure Hunters: chest counts, the densest spots, and routes for hunting the Pirate Shop Token.

Short answer: Crossbones Isle has 901 chest spawn spots, and 243 of them always spawn a chest, according to Destructoid. Arlong Park packs many chests into a small area, and Destructoid recommends Lantern Landing for opening the most chests in one match. As of November 4, 2026, a leaker FAQ also names which container types can drop the Pirate Shop Token. Epic has not confirmed that list.

Some spots can spawn more than one chest. The remaining spots are random each match.
Best spots
Arlong Park. Many chests close together, so you can open several quickly. It is also a popular landing spot, so expect fights.
Lantern Landing. Destructoid's pick for the highest chest count in one match. Patch-note summaries list a "Lantern Lanes"; it is likely the same place.
Which containers can drop the token
As of November 4, 2026, HYPEX's FAQ says opening chests counts, the token lasts the whole Treasure Hunters season, and these containers are valid:
- Regular and Rare chests
- Sprite
- Buried
- Wanted Poster
- Relic
A route for token hunting
The Pirate Shop Token can drop from the containers above, at random, so the goal is simply to open as many of them as possible:
- Land at a dense spot away from the bus path to avoid early fights.
- Open every chest in the area before you move on; each chest only opens once.
- Use a Fortune Sprite if you find one: it reveals nearby chests.
- Play in a party and split up. When one of you finds the token, everyone in the party gets it.
No spot or route guarantees the token. A dense route only lets you open more chests per match, which is the one thing you can do to improve your odds.
