Epic has set the Fortnite Chapter 7 end event for Saturday, December 5, 2026. What we know about the start time, how to make sure you see it, and what ends with it.

Short answer: Epic has scheduled the Chapter 7 end event for Saturday, December 5, 2026. The start time has not been announced yet. We will add it here, converted to the main time zones, as soon as Epic posts it.

What Epic has said
Epic's Treasure Hunters news post, published October 30, asks players to "keep Saturday, December 5, open" for the Chapter 7 end event, as quoted by TimeSaver. Epic has not said when it starts, where on the island it happens or what it shows.
What time does it start?
Not announced yet. For reference, these are the start times of Chapter 7's earlier finales:

Epic has used both afternoon and evening starts, so don't plan around a guess. GGSeason's countdown uses 19:00 UTC only as a placeholder.
Daylight saving time has ended since those events: in December, ET is UTC−5, so an afternoon start such as 2 PM ET would be 19:00 UTC.
How to make sure you see it
- Update the day before. Install any Fortnite update on December 4 so a download doesn't cost you the start.
- Log in 30 to 45 minutes early. TimeSaver recommends this; for Shattered, the doors opened 40 minutes before the event.
- Check the game on the day. Some finales ran inside regular Battle Royale matches and bigger ones had their own playlist. Epic's announcement will say which.
- If you can't log in, check Epic Games Public Status before restarting again.
Missed it? Whether Epic will replay it in game is not confirmed. Full recordings usually appear on YouTube and the Fortnite Wiki within hours, according to TimeSaver.
What ends with it
Pirate Shop Token. The 2026 activation deadline, December 15 at 7 PM ET, comes after the event, so the event does not end your token. If you find a token late, TimeSaver suggests activating around December 5, when new items may arrive. See the Shop Token guide.
One Piece Bundle. The Item Shop listing shows the bundle leaving on December 5 at 23:59 UTC, according to itemshop.gg's shop data. TimeSaver said December 3 and Beebom December 4. Check today's Item Shop for what is leaving.
